Re the "ground zero mosque" controversy.

An element of dark humor I guess. Feisal Abdul Rauf is an American citizen and a Sufi Imam. He has been the primary advocate for the Cordoba Initiative's building of an Islamic cultural center a few blocks from "ground zero" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park51 .
The Sufi's are considered by Al Queda as enemy #1.

Up on a hill, as the day dissolves

With my pencil turning moments into line
High above in the violent sky
A silent silver plane – it draws a golden chain

One by one, all the stars appear
As the great winds of the planet spiral in
Spinning away, like the night sky at Arles
In the million insect storm, the constellations form

On a hill, under a raven sky
